The Last Bit...
The Sad Irony of the Developer

Well it's been a long journey. I've run recipe websites before but never one that I've developed from scratch. The last one I ran was built off WordPress and it always felt like I was trying to wedge pieces of my content in here and there. No fault of WordPress it wasn't made specifically for what I was trying to do. This time around I've built this all from nothing and I'm pretty happy. If something isn't exactly like I like I can just change it pretty easily.

I've never claimed I was a great graphic designer however so that part can easily be changed later by someone a bit more skilled if the need arises!

I'm very happy with what I've gotten so far, and I'll definitely add features and refine things as I go but the saddest part of this all is that no one will likely ever see all the stuff going on in the background. That's usually the fate of the programmer. Luckily it's rewarding on it's own!

Now I'm on to the fun stuff. The reason I really did this! To make recipes, learn to photograph the results, and film them. Learn video editing, and make some cool cute food characters. Heck maybe I'll even feed some people along the way.
